Cheeseburger Macaroni

Cheeseburger Macaroni

8 ounces elbow macaroni
1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion -- chopped
29 ounces stewed tomatoes -- Italian style, undrained
1/4 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded -- 4 ounces

Cook and drain elbow macaroni using package directions. Cook ground
beef and onion in a Dutch oven that's been sprayed with nonstick
cooking spray. Cook the meat over medium-high heat until the meat is
no longer pink. Be sure to crumble the beef with a cooking spoon.
Drain off excess fat. Pat the ground beef with paper towels to remove
any remaining fat.

Stir stewed tomatoes and next 3 ingredients into skillet. Cook until
heated. Stir in cooked macaroni. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Serve
immediately.
